Amelie Deymier is born in 1981 in
Montpellier, France.
She lived her childhood in the french oriental Pyrenees.
Then she passed a DEA (MPhil) in “comparative
and French literature, performing arts and musicology”.
She also attended an Ethnology licence (BA), and
went to Strasbourg to study documentary film production,
where she passed a Master of Professional Studies.
Her first short-documentary “Récit
d’exil” was awarded in several film
festivals in France, such as “Traces de Vies”
festival in Clermont-Ferrand, and was officialy
selected at Biarritz-FIPA in 2006.
Amelie Deymier also works as radio-presenter for
Fip Strasbourg (Radio France), and also works as
dubbing artist for television documentary films
(Arte television). She’s producing a new documentary
“Yougostar”.
Since 2006, Amelie Deymier is the presenter of “Elektra
TV show for experimental music”.
