Elektramusic Award - Listeners' Prize

We're always happy to receive comments
from our public and listeners, because it helps
a lot to have a "second and fresh pair of ears".
So we regularly invite our listeners to vote for
their favorite work, which is awarded the Elektramusic
Listeners Prize. The winning composer has a special
show on our webradio, and is of course part of an
Elektramusic CD.
The vote for the 2007-2008 season prize closed on
November 1st, and you will find below the first
winners. |

Our listeners voted for French composer Elsa
Biston and her work "Muance" (10:45)
that we broadcast all april 2007 long on our
webradio, and which is awarded the Elektramusic
award 2008. This work will be available on
the upcoming Elektramusic CD.

goes to Miss Abril Padilla, for her
work "Fluide urbain" (14'06)
, that Elektramusic broadcast on may
2006. "Fluide urbain" is
available on a CD produced by "La
Muse en Circuit" (Paris-France).
A new work "Feu de voix"
by Abril Padilla is available in the
Elektramusic "Electroacoustic

Martin Stig Andersen

For the very first
prize season, our listeners and visitors
have massively voted for Danish composer
Martin Stig Andersen whose work “ Essential Tree Work” was
broadcast in our radioshow on Thursday,
February 3rd and Sunday, February 6th,
2005.
