Stefano Scarani is an italian
composer born in 1966.
Fundamental in his formation has been the guidance
of Franco Donatoni and Riccardo Sinigaglia. He
is member and collaborator of AGON acustica informatica
musica.
In 1993, together with Alberto Morelli, he gave
life to Tangatamanu, a project dedicated in particular
to the composition and creation of music for installations
and interactive systems, realizing various works,
among others for Studio Azzuro of whom he is a
permanent collaborator, also with Peter Cerone.
As a member of the artistic commitee of "Sones
Contemporaneos", he constantly works as electronic
sound technician in theatre performances and concerts
of AGON, CPA and various ensembles in Italy and
abroad. He is also very active in teaching, giving
lectures and running workshops for musicians and
university students.
He has collaborated with Peter Greenaway, Robert
Wilson, Luca Francesconi, Victor Rasgado, Gae
Aulenti, Luca Ronconi, Peter Bottazzi, in Europe,
USA, Latin America and Japan.
